On Tuesday Google announced a new iPhone app for US App Store users which will allow them to redeem Google Offers and affiliate deals on-the-go. The app joins the existing Android version in allowing shoppers to locate nearby specials as well as purchasing offers directly from the app itself.
By using the iPhone’s location, the app displays deals on a map in addition to listing deals by category. If you spot something you like, it’s easy to save it for later using the My Offers tab, which tracks all bookmarked and past purchases in a single location.
Google says that most offers can be redeemed right on your iPhone with no need to print a physical voucher. Enabling notifications will alert you if a deal you’ve already purchased or saved for later is in danger of expiring, making this a simple but complete app.
The Google Offers iPhone release is the second big iPhone addition in as many months, following May’s revamp of the Google iPhone app.
Have you tried Google Offers? Scooped any killer deals? Waiting for the international version? Talk about it in the comments below.
